About this site

phg.works // blog is a place where I document the things I build, break, fix, learn, and obsess over.
I write about software engineering, self-hosting, network experiments, digital design, and the occasional late-night idea that turns into a project.

I’m Pablo — a full-stack engineer, maker, and tinkerer. I like understanding how systems work end-to-end, from backend services and infrastructure to the hardware they run on. My projects often live somewhere between code, electronics, sailing tech, and the little tools I wish existed.

I use this space to:

  • share notes from my experiments and builds
  • explore ideas without the pressure (I wish) of polishing them
  • record what I learn so future-me doesn’t forget
  • publish thoughts on engineering, architecture, and technology
  • document personal projects that don’t fit anywhere else

If you enjoy technical deep dives, odd experiments, or seeing someone follow their curiosity a bit too far, you might feel at home here.

Thanks for reading — and welcome.
